Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BookCoach mobile application and admin console ("Service") operated by BookCoach ("we", "our", or "us"). By using our Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Accounts
You must create an account to use BookCoach. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and must provide accurate information when creating your account.
Account types include:
- Player: Book tennis coaching sessions with coaches and academies, including on behalf of family members.
- Coach: Create schedules, manage availability, and accept bookings from players.
- Academy Admin: Manage coaches, schedules, and academy operations.
2. Subscriptions
Coaches and academy admins require an active subscription to create schedules and accept bookings. Subscriptions are billed monthly and processed securely through Stripe.
- Coach subscription: 99 AED per month
- Academy subscription: 500 AED per month
Subscriptions renew automatically each month. You may cancel at any time, and your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period.
3. Bookings
For players
- You may book available sessions based on coach schedules, either one session at a time or as a package of sessions.
- A group booking covers the number of players you select; the price is multiplied by that number.
- You may cancel a booking up to 1 hour before the session starts (an early cancellation).
- Cancellations within 1 hour of the session (late cancellations) and missed sessions (no-shows) use up the session.
For coaches
- You are responsible for keeping your availability accurate.
- You may cancel a session with appropriate notice to the player.
- No-show marking must be done within 2 hours after the session ends.
4. Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. We do not store your payment card details; all sensitive payment information is handled directly by Stripe.
Where a coach or academy allows it, you may instead choose to pay at the court. Payments for coaching are made to the coach or academy providing the session; BookCoach may retain a platform fee.
5. Cancellations, makeup credits and refunds
- Early cancellation (more than 1 hour before the session): you receive a makeup credit that you can use to book another session of the same program and value. Your package's expiry date is extended accordingly. Early cancellations are not refunded in money.
- Late cancellation or no-show: the session is used and no makeup credit is given.
- Cancelled by the coach or academy: you receive a makeup credit for the session.
- Booking that could not be placed after payment (for example, the last spot was taken while you were paying): your payment is refunded in full automatically.
- Subscription cancellation: your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided.
6. User conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Impersonate another user or person
- Attempt to access another user's account or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Submit false or misleading information
- Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
7. Intellectual property
The BookCoach app, including its design, code, and content, is owned by BookCoach. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.
8. Limitation of liability
BookCoach provides the platform that connects players with coaches and academies. We are not responsible for:
- The quality of coaching sessions
- Disputes between players and coaches
- Injuries during coaching sessions
- Coach or player no-shows
Our Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
9. Account termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity. You can delete your account at any time from the app (Profile → Edit Profile → Delete Account) or by contacting us — see our Support page.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the UAE.
